**Please review the following job description:**
Provides oversight for projects and/or segments of Enterprise Data Management and Governance programs for various lines of business. Breadth of responsibility includes financial and business project requirements as well as the day-to-day management of teammates. Manages a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the implementation and monitoring of new data management and governance level one policies. Understands and translates business needs into project and team objectives related to development, implementation, and adherence to KRI/KPI metrics and data-related issue management.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Partners with business leaders in establishing data metrics development and adherence processes and restrictions.
2. Monitors progress of the team relative to established objectives and priorities. Manages performance and provides coaching as needed. Ensures that projects are delivered according to Enterprise Technology policies and procedures.
3. Works closely with senior leaders within Enterprise Technology and in the assigned line of business. Aligns appropriate support teams to ensure performance by demanding a strict performance-based measurement process for teammates.
4. Working knowledge of Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Privacy risk, regulations and operations to be able to design relevant KPIs and KRIs.
5. Ensure team development, implementation, reporting, and monitoring of data management and governance adherence metrics (KPIs and KRIs).
6. Coordinate with Enterprise Data Risk Office to ensure alignment between data sub-issue and issue management to ensure proper tagging of data issues.
7. Manage development and execution of processes to inform Enterprise Data Risk Office and business units of the aggregate data issue and sub-issue risk exposure and identify gaps in data quality rules execution.
8. Provide recommendation to Data Quality Rule enhancements to the business units to drive coverage and improve KPI and KRI results.
9. Experience with review and validation of SQL queries and Python coding.
10. Has full management responsibilities for teammates: hiring, disciplinary, coaching, terminating, performance reviews.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Required Qualifications:**

1. Bachelor's Degree and ten years of experience managing complex IT projects or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. Demonstrated experience in project management/delivery teams
3. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services
4. Knowledge of technology structures that incorporate variable staffing evolving platforms, cost and value arbitrage value propositions. Knowledge of business process reengineering and operations
5. Broad view of how industry and technology changes impact technology and client experience through digital channels. Strong business acumen and domain expertise in the assigned portfolio. Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure
6. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities. Ability to influence and negotiate to enable agreement on scope, cost, and schedules
7. Ability to manage a team, including identifying and recruiting talent, managing performance, and making decisions about resource allocation
8. Functional and technical knowledge of Data, Analytics and Client data capabilities
**Preferred Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Master's degree or MBA, and eight years of progressive experience managing complex IT projects
2. Experience developing and managing metrics and adherence to metrics (KRIs and KPIs)
3. Experience leading data quality defect reporting and/or data quality issue management
4. Experience reviewing and validating SQL queries and Python code
5. Worked with second line of defense to identify data issues and risk to remediation and resolution closure
6. Create new policies from metric findings and manage monitoring of developed metrics
7. Banking or financial services experience
8. Well-versed in managing distributed teams comprised of both onshore and offshore
9. Functional and technical knowledge of data, Analytics and Client data capabilities
10. Strong communication and presentation skills, creation of dashboards, design and delivery
