You Are:

UST is searching for an Enterprise Data Engineer who will coordinate with multiple technical teams to ensure the proper integration and functionality of all systems needs in production, as well as new enhancements to each of its products and processes.

 

The opportunity:

·       Provide advanced experience and knowledge for applications, systems, design, integrations, or additions to the architecture and design of applications, solutions, and processes, as well as the data lake and its ecosystems.

·       Lead the development, validation, publication, and logical and physical maintenance processes for data models required for migrations or existing and future projects.

·       Apply your experience in the development, maintenance, and testing of infrastructures, data models, and formats that can be easily used by solution architects and data scientists.

 

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

·       3-5 years of experience in business environments in Data Modeling

·       Demonstrable experience in developing, validating, publishing, and maintaining logical data models and presenting them for your experience in development, validation, publishing, and maintenance

·       Demonstrable experience using data modeling tools such as Erwin

·       Experience evaluating data models and databases to validate variations and discrepancies

·       Experience managing metadata for data models

·       Experience working with Business Analysts, Data Architects, and Software Developers to ensure timely delivery to meet costs, targets, quality, needs, and objectives.

·       Experience using data mining standards to ensure consistency and reusability of data models

·       Experience ensuring reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and scripts

·       Experience validating use cases to fulfill the purpose of data models

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Experience with agile frameworks

·       English B1 – B2

·       Experience managing large and complex data sets, data flows, tool management, Azure, and streaming processes.
