EisnerAmper is seeking an accomplished Enterprise Data Architect – Data Engineering leader to spearhead the strategic evolution of our enterprise data architecture. This pivotal role blends visionary data architecture leadership with deep technical expertise in data engineering, with a strong focus on modern data platforms, unstructured data acquisition, and enterprise-scale integration.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust architectural mindset and champion the design and governance of data solutions that power analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and operational intelligence across the organization. This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in complex enterprise environments and can balance strategic oversight with technical execution.

What Work You Will Be Responsible For:

Enterprise Data Architecture & Strategy

Define, evolve, and enforce a comprehensive enterprise data architecture that enables scalability, flexibility, and interoperability across cloud and on-premises systems.

Architect solutions that integrate structured and unstructured data sources, including documents, logs, and notes, into a unified analytics ecosystem.

Establish the architectural vision for data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data ingestion pipelines, ensuring alignment with business and technology roadmaps.

Provide strategic leadership in data governance transformation initiatives, enhancing data literacy, responsible data usage, and fostering an agile, collaborative team culture.  

Data Engineering

Design of intelligent data pipelines that extract, normalize, and store data from disparate structured sources (e.g., ERP [SAP], CRM, COTS and custom applications) and unstructured sources (e.g., documents, text files, APIs, notes) leveraging tools such as Azure Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and other Microsoft Fabric components for structured and unstructured data ingestion and enrichment and storage.

Extensive experience transitioning ETL workflows to CI/CD-based ELT pipelines, significantly reducing operational costs and enhancing agility.  

Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

Provide architectural directions to cross-functional data engineering teams and oversee execution across onsite and offshore units.

Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology executives, translating complex business needs into scalable data architectures.

Data Governance, Security & Compliance

Define and promote enterprise-wide data governance policies, metadata standards, and lineage tracking for both structured and unstructured data assets. Assist in the definition of enterprise wide data security standards.

Champion the adoption of data cataloging tools, automated classification systems, and lineage tracking solutions to support a governed and trusted data ecosystem.

Architecture lead for enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, emphasizing GDPR, CPRA, CCPA compliance, and structured data classification standards to minimize regulatory risks.  

Analytics, AI & BI Enablement

Architect environments that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven insights—making both structured and unstructured data accessible, reliable, and actionable.

Assist in evaluating new technologies and features for enterprise BI and promoting a self-service analytics culture.

Basic Qualification:

15+ years of progressive experience in Data Engineering and Architecture, with deep technical expertise in the Microsoft data stack (SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI, SSRS, SSAS).

3+ years in an architectural leadership role guiding enterprise data strategy.

Preferred/ Desired Qualifications

Proven experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake.

Demonstrated success in architecting unstructured data ingestion pipelines using tools such as Azure Cognitive Services, Python, NLP, and big data technologies.

Strong foundation in data modeling, dimensional modeling, and building scalable data integration frameworks.

Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience working in regulated environments such as professional services, financial services, or audit.

Certifications in cloud architecture or data management (e.g., Microsoft Certified Azure Architect, CDMP).

Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines, real-time analytics, graph databases, and data mesh principles.
