The PositionThe eCoE is focusing on three areas delivering a high-level of financial expertise, relevant insights, and an entrepreneurial mindset that enables stakeholders to take business decisions. While there are three focus areas and clusters, we are not seeking to create silos. We are looking for individuals who display the Finance Mindset & Behaviors, and will support a living organism that will leverage the business knowledge and financial expertise of the network to deliver exceptional results for Finance and Roche. Team members are partnering with Roche Services & Solutions (RSS), Finance Enterprise Partners (FEPs) and the Business to deliver many of Finance's core processes and deliverables while also driving process scaling/simplification/harmonization and progressing our digital ambition. Ensuring business continuity is a must.
The Opportunity
As a member of the PIFC squad in the Pharma Commercial OBC of the eCOE, you will be responsible for providing sales insights and analytics across geographies and the portfolio for Pharma International. You will serve as key contact for the Head of Pharma International Finance and the Pharma Divisional Finance Team. You will furthermore collaborate with FEPs both locally as well as globally on a series of topics along the way. Depending on the candidate profile this role includes peer-coaching and leadership opportunities
Key Work Packages:
Provides state of the art analytics and innovative insights, resource allocation models and financial modelling tools
Ownership of all planning events (MO, T0, BP) for sales in close cooperation with FINET and the Divisional Finance team in FIRE.
Partnering & Influencing stakeholders across Pharma International and beyond. This includes Must-Win countries, I7 Areas, CELs, PT Finance, GPS insights groups and DA FEPs
Help senior senior finance decision makers understand the landscape we work in and identify additional financial value-adding opportunities
Ownership of daily sales report for Pharma International incl. Month-End, Quarter- and HY landing projections
Provide periodic monthly insights to key stakeholders according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
Further develop digital solutions in your areas of responsibility in line with the eCoE’s MTOs to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our work.
Who you are
A university degree in Finance/Accounting, with 5+ years of relevant work experience. MBA and/or a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus
Strong analytical skills, trend analysis and financial modelling
Digital savvyness (experience in SAP SAC is a requirement), intellectual curiosity and an ability to draw logical conclusions
Strong attention to details combined with the ability to clearly and concisely synthesize key messages and communication to senior management
Self-motivated, pro-active and with an ability to work independently, while also being a strong team player within the eCoE, the FM community and the broader Finance network
Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to work under tight timelines and adaptable to changing priorities
Good understanding of our Product portfolio and Commercial business. Prior affiliate experience is a strong plus
Ambitious mindset both when it comes to your own professional development as well as when it comes to ensuring effective resource allocation to maximize business impact and the quality of the work you deliver.
