Enterprise Architect Director- Presales (AWS)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Presales AWS Java Solution Architect to lead and drive pre-sales engagements, including solutioning, offer building, pricing, client engagement, and proposal leadership. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to clients, working closely with stakeholders to define cutting-edge AWS and Java solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Prior pre-sales experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead presales engagements for AWS and Java solutions, covering cloud architecture, application development, and integration.Define and execute end-to-end solution architectures, ensuring seamless integration of AWS services and Java applications.Own solution blueprints, effort estimation, and technical proposal development for RFPs and RFIs.Develop and deliver high-impact proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.Conduct C-level client interactions, technical workshops, and deep-dive discussions to position AWS and Java solutions effectively.Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through their AWS and Java transformation journeys and presenting industry trends.Ability to develop accelerators, reusable components, and frameworks to optimize solution delivery.Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, delivery, and engineering, to tailor solutions to customer needs.

Required Skills:

10 to 15 years of IT experience, with 5 years as a Solution Architect specializing in AWS and Java.Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC) and Java application development. Hands-on experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).Strong experience with cloud architecture, design patterns, and best practices.Expertise in solution architecture, design patterns, and best practices.Customer-facing experience with strong presentation, proposal writing, and communication skills. Ability to own pricing, TCO analysis, and financial modelling to support business cases.Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect)Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), messaging services (Kafka) and serverless deployment strategiesKnowledge of AI/ML-driven DevOps practices and toolsExperience with security and compliance within AWS and Java solutions
