We are currently seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our team in Heredia, Costa Rica

Enterprise Architect

The Enterprise Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps.

Position overview

The Enterprise Architect work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity.

Position's General Duties and Tasks:

The Enterprise Architect integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system. Recommends products that will evolve the organization's technical infrastructure. Provides Professional leadership in developing the organization's technical and architectural staff. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.

Qualifications

Must have Skills:

+7 years of technical experience5 or more years design, development, and testing of software applicationsProgressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systemsMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Enterprise Preference Systems.Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organizationTeam player and strong collaborator both within the department, as well as with Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance Office, and Enterprise Information ProtectionPossess a blend of business and technical savvy that includes a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a realityStrong analysis, critical thinking, and analytical problem solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detailExcellent communication skillsExperience leading architecture in modernization, transformation and transition journeys.Experience with developing and influencing strategies and roadmaps.Experience working with engineers and delivery teams.Extensive experience with large enterprise software solutions.Proven track record of driving efficiency measures in larger scale organizations.Demonstrated experience participating in, interacting with, and improving architecture practices.Ability to build strong relationships with business and information technology partners, including communicating complex technology concepts to non-technical audiences.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
