Rabobank ANZ’s Chief Product Office is a highly specialised team who focus on guiding & prioritising our digital products & services in line with the needs of our business & broader organisational strategy & direction. The team are seeking a dynamic Enterprise Architect position based in Sydney, supporting the ANZ region.  

In this greenfields role you will draw on your background in an Enterprise Architect role to proactively & holistically help & guide enterprise leaders, product leaders, product owners & distributed product delivery teams through transformation & optimisation initiatives.

In this pivotal role, the scope of activities includes helping the bank achieve targeted business outcomes related to growing revenue, optimising costs, mitigating risks & improving sustainability.  Furthermore, you will make an impact influencing the development of the business & IT strategy & the enterprise architecture of the region.

Top Role Accountabilities: Facilitating business & IT alignment, connecting strategy to execution, through a collaborative, & consultative manner, driving the banks digital business strategies & balancing innovation & growthTranslating & guiding the execution of business strategy to achieve the bank’s targeted business outcomes by leading the development of an implementation roadmap for the enterprise architectureProviding consultative advice, to business leaders & organisational stakeholders who will be seeking actionable recommendations to make investment decisions about the next business & operating model of their organisation, using technology to make that change happenLeading & facilitating interaction with business leaders, product managers & product owners in a business-driven conversation over the risks & implications of a product decision to the line of business, business unit & greater regional enterpriseAdapting to changing business & operating modelsAnalysing trends & disruptions & assessing their impact on targeted business outcomesTelling stories to visualise the future state & trigger long-term planningSupporting various operating models such as project-centric & product-centricCommunicating the value of enterprise architecture, & its portfolio of servicesDriving the evolution of the Enterprise Architect services & operating modelResponsible for managing the Target Architecture to support product vision Engagement & alignment with global counterpartsEstablishing a data & analytics architecture that combines regional & global data effectively for data driven decision making & data products

To be successful you will have:10 years + IT experience with more than 5 years experience in enterprise architectureBanking & financial services experience preferredProven ability to work in a dynamic environment & an agile mindsetCertification/s in TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma or AgileExpertise in technology-driven business architecture patterns & practicesExcellent communication skills, with an ability to lead discussions effectivelyProven track record in coordinating effective teams to complete tasks / projectsExperience across business, data, application, technology & security architecture domainsExperienced in Digital, Retail or Business Banking
