Enrollment Operations Supervisor
**Job Description:** Responsible for the leadership and direction of an enrollment team. Facilitates efforts to ensure excellent customer service including the removal of barriers that impede excellent service as well as develop best practices in the department. **We are committed to offering flexible work options where approved and stated in the job posting. However, we are currently not considering candidates who reside or plan to reside in the following states: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.** Scope Supervises an operational team to ensure operational processes for multiple products/lines of business. Job Essentials 1. Supervises a team of employees responsible for multiple enrollment lines of businesses. Develops and monitors department administrative budget. 2. Provides oversight to employment functions including hiring, performance management, constructive discipline and termination. Fosters employee and team morale. Educates, trains, coaches, problem solves and coordinates the ongoing development of skills in trainers and team members. 3. Oversees the management of their assigned enrollment lines of businesses. Includes assuring all enrollments are accurately reflected and reconciled in the system. Ensures that enrollment is processed timely to meet group and government performance guarantees. Ensures federal and state regulations are being met. Develops, administers, and reports service quality key indicators in compliance with operations and government requirements. 4. Oversee the management of ID cards for their assigned enrollment lines of businesses. Includes assuring all members receive accurate ID cards as reflected in system. Ensures that ID cards are ordered and mailed timely to meet group and government performance guarantees. Develops, administers, and reports service quality key indicators in compliance with operations and government requirements. Ensures federal and state regulations are being met. 5. Implements and operationalizes new products, new groups, benefit enhancements, and benefit changes. Implements new regulations, requirements and policies correctly. 6. Works with other departments to implement and operationalize workflows, key contacts, etc. to ensure the delivery of superior service. 7. Ensures enrollment system integrity, coordinates system changes, and upgrades system for improvements. 8. Develops effective relationships with other departments in order to ensure financial and customer service standards are met and exceeded. 9. Ensures that all enrollment functions are compliant with internal, CMS, NCQA and regulatory agency requirements. 10. Develops, reviews, and updates Enrollment policy manuals, policy updates, training materials / tools, enrollment guidelines, and other necessary materials. 11. Recommends, develops and implements innovative strategies for retention of existing members or employer groups, addition of new members or employer groups, containing administrative cost, improving efficiency, customer satisfaction and service. 12. Works with account receivable, customer service, claims processing, employer groups, sales, Individual members and agents to establish better communication and resolve complex enrollment and billing issues. 13. Recommends, develops and implements processes to identify and control eligibility issues that subject the company to abuses. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Health Care related field. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified. - or - Two years of business or professional health insurance experience. One year of experience in a lead position working with enrollment and eligibility with emphasis on benefit design, systems structures or applications, payment arrangements, claims processing and administration and customer service procedures to obtain a strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, statutes, laws, HIPAA, CMS, NCQA and contractual requirements. - and - Demonstrated intermediate knowledge with Facets or similar enrollment eligibility system. - and - Two years of supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a business or healthcare related field. Effective coach and team builder. - and - Experience in process improvement methodologies to gain operational efficiencies. - and - Strong organizational, data gathering, and data analysis skills. - and - Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. - and - Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and process improvement skills. - and - Quality and process improvement and effective project management skills. **Physical Requirements:** SH only Manual dexterity, hearing, seeing, speaking. **Location:** SelectHealth - Murray **Work City:** Murray **Work State:** Utah **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 40 The hourly range for this position is listed below.
