Job Description
We are seeking an Environmental Technician to operate the belt press machine used for filtering water from the retention pond. This role involves mixing materials and water, as well as monitoring the belt press machine. Candidates will receive training on the machinery, and a background in construction, environmental, or landscaping industries is preferred.
ResponsibilitiesOperate the belt press machine to filter water from the retention pond.Mix materials and water for processing.Monitor the belt press machine to ensure efficient operation.Ensure the proper functioning of machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise.Essential SkillsBackground in construction, environmental, or landscaping industries.2+ years of experience in construction/environmental/landscaping.Comfortable working with hand tools and mechanically inclined.Ability to work reliably and consistently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in environmental cleanup.General labor experience.Comfortable working in various weather conditions.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position requires working Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm, with an expectation of 5-10 hours of overtime per week. The work is primarily outdoors, requiring comfort in various weather conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
