The Grafton Job Corps Center is seeking a English & Reading Instructor for Young Adults to join our team!
Here at Job Corps, we work with disadvantaged youth ages 16-24 and provide them residential services, and academic and career training, all at no cost to the student. We are a federally funded program administered by the Department of Labor. We are a year round, self-paced program for our students. Pay Rate for this position is $52,000 annually
Schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:45pm
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing instruction and training to students in the academic area of reading. Works with students of different reading levels to help them reach and obtain the necessary reading skills to obtain their HS diploma and become successful members of the workforce. Develops individual achievement plans and academic goals to ensure student academic achievement in the program. Works with the CTT Instructors to infuse applied academics into CTT curricula to enhance student learning and success. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
