Engineers - System Performance Analysis (multiple positions) Location: 8500 Smith’s Mill Rd, New Albany, OH 43054 Work Designation: Onsite **Job Description** **What You'll Do:** + Conduct system performance analysis and provide solutions to support planning, operations, engineering, regulatory and financial needs of the company. + Perform electrical engineering studies related to power system stability, reliability, and compliance. + Perform transient and voltage stability studies, insulation coordination studies, electromagnetic field studies, and studies of geomagnetically induced currents and geomagnetic disturbance. + Perform power-flow analyses in support of system stability, system restoration, and geomagnetic disturbance analyses. + Develop and maintain power system and geomagnetic disturbance models, and calculate electromagnetic interference for overhead and underground transmission lines. **What We Are Looking For:** Requirements: Master’s degree in an ABET* accredited electrical engineering program focused in power systems and 1 year of work experience or graduate level coursework/research to demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the following: + Power flow modeling and analysis + Transient power system modeling and simulations using PSCAD, RSCAD or Matlab + Power system stability and reliability studies and analysis + Load flow and fault studies + Python programming + PSSE or PowerWorld modeling *ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Non-ABET accredited advanced degree in electrical engineering must be from, or be accompanied by an advanced degree from, ​a university with an ABET accredited bachelor degree program in electrical engineering. **Compensation Range:** $89,627 to $127,624 annually The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
