**Description** SAIC is seeking an **Engineering Technician IV** to support the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) program within the Mobility Platform Integration team. This position is based at the **EastGate facility in Bedford, Indiana** and requires up to 25% travel to various CONUS locations in support of installation efforts. The Engineering Technician II will perform kitting & aid in hands-on integration JLTV ECP installations. The role supports field operations, follows standardized processes, and ensures installations meet technical and safety standards. + Travel up to 25% to CONUS military bases and field sites to support integration and fielding operations. + Follow established work instructions, technical drawings, and engineering guidance. + Support quality assurance by identifying and reporting issues and discrepancies. + Coordinate with site leads, engineers, and fellow technicians during installations. + Read and interpret engineering drawings and redlines to ensure accurate work execution. + Document work performed and communicate any deviations or issues promptly. **Qualifications** **Required Skills:** + Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to CONUS military installations. + Demonstrated hands-on mechanical skills with vehicle systems or platform modifications. + Proficient in MS products. + Basic mechanical experience, including component removal and re-installation. **Required Education/Clearance:** + High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 years of relevant mechanical or technician experience. + Active DoD Secret Clearance.
