As an Engineering Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. You'll be responsible for constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and maintaining our equipment, components, devices, or systems. You'll ensure our systems and components meet established specifications.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Associate's degree in a related field of study and 6 or more years of experience A higher level degree may substitute for experienceRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationAbility to understand and interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publicationsThorough understanding of the use of standard laboratory test equipment, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, Oscilloscope, other measurement equipment, hand tools, and power toolsAdvanced skills with assembly, connectors and crimping techniquesExperience with measuring and analyzing RF signals

Qualifications We Prefer:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environmentBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, NASA, the US Department of Defense or US Military

Advanced soldering techniques with electronic boards and harnesses

Advanced RF testing and troubleshooting

Experience with harnessing low voltage electronics

Strong attention to detail
