Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Technician - Assembly, to sit onsite at an Aerospace client in Santa Clara, CA. This person will work closely with engineers and technicians to support the assembly, integration, and testing of electromechanical systems for an eVTOL aircraft. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Some day-to-day tasks include: interpreting drawings/schematics, assembling mechanical and structural sub-systems following engineering drawings, torque specifications, installing and alignment of major components.
(This role can pay $47-65 depending on years of experience).

Skills and Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience in the aerospace and/or automotive industry as an engineering technician.
Associates degree or certification in a field of engineering technology (4+ years of experience can substitute for education requirements)
Solid understanding of mechanical and structural assembly techniques
Knowledge of aircraft safety procedures
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering instructions, and FAA guidelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
New Product Development experience in Aerospace & Aviation A&P certification or equivalent experience.
Experience in Computer-Aided Design software (CAD) such as SolidWorks,
Siemens NX, Catia, Etc.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve
integration and/or mechanical issues.
Experience working with electric aircraft, aircraft configuration management, and FAA conformity. null
