Job Responsibilities:  Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Assists in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. May work with complex machines or computer systems. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.Fully proficient in supporting individual contributors.Works under limited supervision. May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise.Assignments are moderately difficult, requiring some judgment.Works under limited supervision. Less detailed instructions are provided and minimal peer review is required.Communicates with contacts, typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. May be a resource to other employees in areas of proficiency.Work may be structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follows established processes to complete tasks. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations. Basic Hiring Criteria:Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. 
Desired Qualifications:Experience using torque driver, power supply.Small hand tools.Mixing and applying adhesives.
