Sensata is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join our global Industrial Solutions organization. The qualified candidate will assist in new product design development, design upgrades to existing products and lab infrastructure improvements to support the growth of the Sensing Solutions Business. - + **General Responsibilities** + Leads analyzing the malfunctions and deviations of control systems to identify and resolve problems. Supports the engineering team on sample builds Ensures tooling and equipment validation with engineering. Performs engineering tests. Ensures the developtment of testing and data analysis. Runs cycle time studies that identifies potential bottlenecks. Resolves irregularities in the process of the manufacturing equipment. Performs analysis and prepares reports using metrics obtained from monitoring using raw data, trends and other reports. Performs technical issues and trains other employees in the team. Advises on analysis and reports on metrics obtained from tracking using raw data, trends and other reports. **Experience / Qualifications** Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) # Additional skills that are of value: + Computer literate in MS Windows + Strong problem solving skills + Good oral and written communication skills including the ability to describe test events and results in technical report format. + Ability to work in a team environment with other engineers and technicians in order to meet team goals. + May be required to supervise technicians conducting test programs + Responsible for lab equipment preventative maintenance and continuous improvement + Highly effective time management skills with ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Must be capable of lifting up to 8 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 25 lbs. on occasion + Capable of using hand tools and laboratory equipment + Overtime including weekends may be required in order to meet program schedules. + Foreign travel may be required + Some travel may be required; less than 5%.Travel is mostly, but not limited to, various testing facilities in U.S. and abroad to complement internal testing programs. + Business emergencies may occur which require extended periods of travel to locations in Mexico, China and the U.S. \#LI-JL1 #LI-Onsite # Hourly Base Pay Range: $28.00 - $38.50 _At Sensata, our employees are the key to our success and growth.
