Engineering Technician
Job Title: Engineering Technician Job Description We are seeking an entry-level engineer to join our team as a Quality Technician. This role offers the opportunity to progress into more advanced quality initiatives, supporting the Quality Lead and Quality Director. Initially, you will perform basic quality-related tasks, including inspection, report writing, and troubleshooting. While experience is not required, candidates with Quality Internships or Co-op experience are preferred. Responsibilities + Perform basic quality-related tasks such as inspection, report writing, and troubleshooting. + Support advanced quality initiatives under the guidance of the Quality Lead and Quality Director. + Participate in quality audits and ensure adherence to quality documentation standards. + Engage in hands-on quality control and assurance activities. Essential Skills + Knowledge of engineering, quality engineering, and quality audit processes. + Strong understanding of quality documentation and hands-on experience in quality control and assurance. + Ability to troubleshoot quality issues effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Quality Engineering Co-Op or Internship experience. + 1+ years of experience as a quality technician in a machining environment. + Strong soft skills are essential for success in this role. Work Environment The role involves working on the shop floor and in the engineering lab. The facility is climate-controlled, well-lit, and exceptionally clean for a welding environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
