ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional product development teams to conduct testing and evaluation of product prototypes according to various company and national standards.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring completion with accuracy and commitment to meeting project deadlines.Maintain keen attention to detail to prepare complete records of tests conducted, procedures used, and testing results, with specific attention to report any unusual results that may affect the outcome of the test.Utilize knowledge and experience in the safe operation of laboratory equipment and adherence to ISO procedures.Participate in laboratory and equipment maintenance and calibration tasks in accordance with laboratory policy.Essential SkillsProficiency in using hand tools, testing equipment, and/or programming.Excellent communication, documentation, and report writing skills.Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.Experience with programming and using hand tools.Work Environment
This position is based in the testing lab for the Plumbing Americas division, where water and other substances are used to test plumbing fixtures and toilets. Responsibilities include installing and setting up products to be tested in testing fixtures, initiating tests, and monitoring for proper operation to test procedures. Test data is submitted in Excel spreadsheets. The team consists of approximately 12-16 individuals, some working in the faucets lab and some on toilets, without selection preference. The environment is relatively clean, with shelves of toilets hooked up to computers and numerous faucets being turned on and off. The role involves significant standing and bending over to hook up and test toilets.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
