Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will be responsible for implementation planning to mitigate energy/utility risks to critical facilities and missions. You will perform technical supervision for energy data collection and analyzes data about building and utility systems to determine facility improvements for energy conservation, and greenhouse gas and carbon footprint reduction. You will ensure that energy project proposals are life cycle cost effective and in accordance with HQMC energy policies and regulations prior to implementation. You will be responsible for interpreting higher directives, writing, administering, and executing the MCAS Beaufort Energy Policy. You will maintain a current status of the condition of water, wastewater, natural gas, and electrical distribution systems. You will prepare utility billing estimates for new and renewal tenant customers by performing analysis based on established criteria formulas or estimates from actual recorded meter data. You will plan, administer, provide oversight and guidance, and manages overall work of the office. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing and implementing an energy program; conducting data analysis to determine risks and managing and making recommendations to improve the programs effectiveness; developing energy saving projects; and managing utilities (ie water/sewer, electricity, natural gas). Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
