Job Title: Engineering Technician
Job Description

This position involves assisting in maintaining equipment documentation and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Engineering Technician II supports the engineering maintenance team by ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and responding to ticket requests. Some facilities-related HVAC work will also be part of the day-to-day responsibilities. Additionally, the engineering technician will manage other key projects as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain equipment documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Support the engineering maintenance team in ensuring proper functioning of equipment.Respond to ticket requests promptly and efficiently.Perform facilities-related HVAC work as needed.Manage key projects as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in engineering and troubleshooting.Experience in facilities maintenance.Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with troubleshooting and basic repair techniques.Certification in HVAC, fluid systems, electrical, or mechanical systems.Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Work Environment

The work environment offers a flexible schedule with options for a later or earlier start to the day. There is potential to swap a weekday for a weekend if schedule permits, maintaining a 40-hour work week. The role requires being active and on your feet every day with a dynamic project schedule. Travel involves reporting to four locations with four buildings approximately two miles apart each, and once a week, reporting to the Badger facility near Baraboo, directly from home, supporting functions there before returning home.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
