The candidate will demonstrate technical expertise in Reviewing and approving Electrical & Instrumentation design documents like Electrical load list, Instrument List, Data sheet, Hookup-Drawing, Loop diagrams, Logic diagrams, Cable tray/Earthing Layouts and BOM.
The candidate will demonstrate technical leadership in developing electrical / Instrumentation specifications and design documents for ZLD Technology systems as well as other Water specific technologies, including RO, UF, MMF, MBR, EDI and others as part of the Client E&I engineering team.
Secondary role requirements include developing instrumentation related design and document capabilities. These include Instrument Index, IO List, Instrumentation Calculation and design, Instrument Data Sheets, Instrument location drawings and Instrument Hookup drawings.
Candidate from EPC background and Water Treatment Plant’s/Oil and Gas is preferable.
Candidate must familiar with international code and standard, NEC IEC UL CSA NFA
Ensure smooth transitions between project stages, across sites and between key stakeholders.
Basic and Detail engineering, Document deliverables, RFQ for E & I procurement, execution planning through to completion and start up.
Identifies issues and coordinates its resolution.
Review/Approve of Specification & Drawings related to Water Treatment Plant’s / Oil and Gas Electricals & Instruments.
Review/Approve of Basic engineering documents like Instrument list/PLC IO list/ Electrical Load list and Datasheet hook up drawings.
Review/Approve of Control valve/Flow Element Sizing.
Candidate must have knowledge on PLC/DCS like Siemens/AB/GE and inspection.
Candidate must knowledge on MCC Panel like Type tested panel, compartmental panel and electrical components from Siemens/ABB/Schneider
Candidate must have knowledge on area classification of different Zones.
Review/Approve of Detail Engineering like Cable Schedule, Cable Tray & Earthing Layouts.
Manage Management of Change process to ensure changes are appropriately reviewed, approved and documented
Review & Sign off documents including IO Lists, Loop diagrams, Control Valve sizing Logic diagrams, Shutdown Keys, Logic Diagrams, Instrument Index, Setpoint Lists, DCS and PLC Design, Instrument Location and Installation Design.
Review & Sign off control system architecture for PLC/DCS and HMI systems and select appropriate hardware.
Review & Sign off I&C portion of P&ID’s. Attend P&ID review and HAZOP meetings with internal teams and customers.
Interface with suppliers for preliminary costing, instrument component selection, and submittal document review.
Interface with customers regarding E&I designs and submitted design documents.
Understand and assess project specific area classification requirements and apply correct solutions.
Understand and assess project specific requirements and apply correct solutions.
Support commercial engineers, as well as to other engineers within the team to develop their technical and commercial expertise.
Support project execution through review of the control documents, engineering drawings, and manuals for projects. Support plant commissioning and performance testing.
Document lesson learned from issues during commissioning and provide feedback to E&I Engineering team and LE.
QualificationsBachelor’s or Equivalent in Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering
