Engineering Technical Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Engineering Technical Coordinator will be primarily responsible for entering ECO’s /Structure EPO’s parts and BOM structure into the appropriate Manux systems and support the team as required.
Performance Expectations:
Create and maintain machine configurations based on sales order requests.
Coordinate weekly ECO implementation meetings.
Responsible to follow up with multiple departments to implement all ECO’s released from the design group.
Provide/coordinate engineering application training for the engineering group.
Monitoring and updating EPDM and Tackers as required.
Training of ECO process and other tasks as required.
Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
Credentials:
Post-Secondary education in an engineering related discipline or previous relevant work experience.
Desired Characteristics:
Basic Engineering Drawing understanding.
Must have a basic knowledge and understanding of product data management (PDM), engineering design processes/procedures, 3D CAD software and assembly management (Solidworks), and engineering systems support within an OEM manufacturing environment.
Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills.
Intermediate knowledge with Solidworks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite, and others. Continuous personal development in computer understanding.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Able to adapt quickly to changing situations.
