Major Duties
Position Summary:
Has responsibility to repair and maintain manual, semi-automated, and automated Special Test Equipment (STE). Work with PXI-based and PC-based STE hardware platforms. Has comprehensive understanding of legacy Windows Operating Systems and be able to perform PC repair and maintenance services. Knowledge of hard drive cloning and hard drive image backup. Work with production technicians to resolve test equipment issues. Other responsibilities include reviewing Acceptance Test Procedure, supporting engineering development works, and providing equipment calibration assistance. Reports to the Test Engineering Manager or Project Lead.
Essential Functions:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Repair and maintain various types of production Special Test Equipment
+ Operate basic laboratory test equipment such as Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, and Data Logger
+ Work with GPIB, RS232, RS422, CAN, ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553
+ Perform PC repair and maintenance services
+ Work with PXI Embedded controllers and related PXI products
+ Work with legacy Windows Operating Systems (DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows XP, etc.)
+ Have basic knowledge of electronic circuitry
+ Troubleshoot test equipment issues down to component level
+ Familiar with electromechanical systems (DC/AC motors, gears, pump, loads)
+ Understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
+ Familiar with Automated Test Equipment design and development
+ Knowledge of NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and MS Visual Basic 6.0 is a plus
Qualifications:
+ AS Electrical Engineering or equivalent
+ 4-5 years of experience with Special Test Equipment repairs and maintenance
+ Be able to multi-task and prioritize workloads
+ Experience in technical writing
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Ability to work with multiple functional teams
+ Familiar with manufacturing and production environment
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio

+ Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for New York. The wage range for this role considers allowances for a number of factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, licensure/certifications, education, and other business needs. We aim to offer a base pay that aligns with the midpoint of our salary range. Pay Range: $60,528- $100,881
