Engineering Support Specialist II (Calibration)
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Test Equipment Services and Metrology with 3+ years of hands-on experience. This role will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of test equipment, including calibration, repair, asset management, and compliance with certification standards. The ideal candidate will have an electrical or instrumentation background and be familiar with industry with the best practices for calibration and equipment service. Key Responsibilities Calibration and Equipment Repair SME + Manage Equipment Service Requests (ESR) and Out of Tolerance (OTR) investigations. + Coordinate calibration requirements for TEKTRONIX systems and third-party vendors. + Maintain accurate asset lists (HON, GFE) and support audits. + Oversee equipment transfers, stock inventory, and annual inventory counts. + Ensure compliance with certification standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540) + Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on test equipment and test harnesses. + Process ESRs and coordinate calibration system requirements post repair. + Manage spare parts inventory and support preventive maintenance programs. + Adhere to safety protocols and electrical standards. + Working knowledge of test harnesses and custom fixtures YOU MUST HAVE + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics + 3+ years of experience in engineering or technical support + Proven track record of providing technical support and guidance to engineering teams + Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills WE VALUE + Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) + Proficiency with TEKTRONIX systems and calibration software/tools. + Strong knowledge of industry standards (ISO, ANSI, MIL-STD). + Ability to manage inventories, audits, and compliance documentation + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks + Customer-focused mindset and ability to build strong relationships + Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive process enhancements Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
