DescriptionEngineering Storekeepers is responsible to receive, store and issue supplies and equipment, compile records of supply transactions and verify that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.\n

Key ResponsibilitiesMain Responsibilities:\nRecord accurately deliveries and departmental issues in the stock ledgers and balance daily to the standard required.\nMatch goods received with delivery notes from suppliers.\nReceive goods from suppliers.\nEnsure that all goods are immediately dispatched to store for which they are intended and that no goods are left unsecured or unsupervised on the receiving area.\nTo arrange purchase requests to be sent to the purchasing department for “below minimum” items in time to ensure proper lead-time for purchasing.\nDistribute goods to the Engineering Department employees against stores request.\nTo be responsible for the cleaning and hygiene schedule for all the main store areas.\nResponsible for reviewing and recording any goods issued after hours.\nResponsible for ensuring that all storerooms are locked, supervised, organized, and clean at all times.\nResponsible for performing any additional duties assigned by Management and assisting in other areas of Purchasing as needed.\nResponsible for communicating with supervisor on any discrepancies or other potential problems.\nAdditional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nNationality : Lebanese
Education: High School/ College or equivalant
Experience:
1-3 years in Engineering Storekeeper position preferably in Luxury 5* chains.
Competencies:\t\t\n\nAbility to handle high volume with attention to detail\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAn ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nApplies a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times\nWorks in a safe, prudent and organized manner\nStraightforward\nFlexible and reliable\nEnergetic\nTolerant and open minded\nWorks well under pressure\nTechnical Competencies: \nAbility to operate computer and mechanical equipment\nProficiency in Excel and Word\nExperience in respective computer software is a plus\nKnowledge of materials handling, quality control and local regulation\n\n
