As an Engineering Specialist in Controls, you will lead problem-solving to assist plants and implementation teams resolve tooling, equipment, and conveyor performance issues and downtime. You will utilize and leverage Vis Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, as well as review and follow up on automation projects and installations.
Allen Bradley Panel View use/programming AB Servo and AB VFD drives Familiarity with VFD’s, Servo Drives, Armor starts, encoders, network/ethernet Familiar with PLC/CNC (Siemens/ Allen-Bradley), VFD, Servo, Profinet, ABB and FANUC Robots Ability to read blueprints, modify electrical schematics and use AutoCAD Ability to troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate for process improvements Lean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping experience Understanding of 8D, FMEA, and DMAIC processes Familiar with TQM and Kaizen methods Knowledge of simulation modeling and visual factory management preferred. Strong understanding of networking to include DH+, Ethernet and remote IOMinimum Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls Electrical background (electrician or technician) 2 + years of Controls experience
