Duties include filing, drafting, and reviewing and producing documents such as plans and specifications, contracts, pay estimates, change orders, correspondence, and reports, as well as routing, copying, and distributing documents. Applicant will aid in researching information for special projects and reports, maintaining vehicles and equipment, and will provide technical assistance to the field staff as required. In state travel is required, and computer skills in AutoCAD, Windows and Microsoft Office are a must. Experience with Revit or Civil 3D is a plus. Applicants must meet or exceed these qualifications : The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; or GED. Associate’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. mechanical, electrical, civil, environmental, chemical) or a related field may be required. Preferred Requirements : Three years of experience in drafting or construction related jobs. In this classification, the candidate works under the supervision of senior engineers and project managers, assisting with technical tasks, data collection, project documentation, and preliminary design work. Primary Responsibilities Assist in gathering field data for engineering studies by using both manual and electronic survey devices. Help with collecting and analyzing measurements, technical data, and other essential parameters required by engineering projects. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating project specifications and design documents. Collaborate with senior engineers to support preliminary design, calculations, and feasibility studies.
