We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work together with our customers We are looking for a Systems Integration and Test Services Engineer to join the SETC Effectors organization located in Tucson, AZ. This position may require travel **(up to 40%).** Position requires a US DoD security clearance. **What You Will Do** + This opportunity allows you to work hands on with the CIWS Weapon System in an outdoor environment. + You will provide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks to include planning and executing experiments, gathering, maintaining, formatting and compiling technical data, such as experimental test results and engineering design changes to support engineering disciplines. + Analyze, maintain, compile and format data and design changes. Produce flow charts, reports and engineering documentation. + Perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification or electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems. + Other duties include logistical support such as receiving / and documenting government furnished equipment, maintaining onsite part/system data (quantity, grade, status), adhering to time and condition-based equipment maintenance program. + You will work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform inspections, maintenance, assembly and/or repairs/replacement of mechanical and electrical components in support of engineering testing on the Land-based Phalanx Weapon System. **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a test environment with emphasis on test planning and/or implementation. + Experience and understanding of troubleshooting, analysis, and planning techniques + Basic knowledge test equipment, such as spectrum analyzer, multimeter, oscilloscope and calibration equipment such as torque wrenches. + Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance **Qualifications We Prefer** + Military Gun System Experience + Land based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS) and/or CIWS (Close in Weapon System) Experience. + Knowledge of equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, and electronics maintenance + Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and/or spectrum analyzers + Experience in integration with test equipment, telemetry data analysis tools, and host platforms. + Ability to clearly articulate plan, process, and/or procedure of repair/replacement/modification of part or program to equipment to team **What We Offer** + Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
