Job Title: Engineering Records Document Specialist
Job Description

This position is responsible for maintaining processes and procedures related to the management of compliance documentation for the company's pipeline system, ensuring adherence to governmental regulations and established business practices.

ResponsibilitiesVerify that all documents comply with applicable state and federal regulations governing business operations.Assist field locations with record-keeping procedures and monitor established standards for the company’s document management system.Provide research assistance to obtain drawings and documentation as requested both internally and externally.Scan and index drawings and documentation into the document management system, FileNet.Essential SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office.2+ years of document management experience.Working knowledge of DOT compliance documentation related to the pipeline industry.Ability to read drawings and understand documentation for Natural Gas facilities.Experience working on oil and gas projects.Ability to work independently.Data entry experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsOpen to software such as FileNet, Capture, and DataCap.Good typing and clerical skills.Customer service experience.Project coordination skills.Work Environment

The position is based in an office environment in downtown Houston. Employees are expected to work independently with computers and office equipment. Benefits include long-term contract opportunities, two weeks vacation accrual, and holiday pay for six holidays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
