Engineering Project Manager

If you are an Engineering Project Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting role for you!  Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will be a member of a collaborative product development group. You will have the opportunity to lead and coordinate activities with global technical teams to develop pressure and temperature features and instrumentation that industrial customers use around the world!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Effectively coordinate team activities and provide leadership to the project team. Be responsible for delivering on the overall scope, objectives, schedule, and budget of the project and ensuring that customer and company quality requirements are satisfied Identify, prioritize, and mitigate project risks and work with the team to create mitigation strategies Ensure team performance by leading, mentoring, training, motivating, and celebrating Provide timely communication to stakeholders that include project updates and gate review presentations Participate in process improvement teams

You deal constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.

For This Role, You Will Need: BS Engineering or related technical discipline  Minimum of five (5) years related experience Willingness to occasionally meet with global team members on off hours Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: PMI certification Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Applications (Word, PP, Excel) Experience leading engineering project teams that developed new products Knowledge and use of NPD phase gate process Experience working with international teams Excellent facilitation and persuasion skills Experience using Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) Our Culture & Commitment to You: At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow. Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $104,000-$119,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
