Kerry is the world's leading taste and nutrition company for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries and we are hiring an Engineering Project Manager to lead capex investment across the Coatings and Proteins plant network. This role will be remote based out of one of Kerry plant locations - Rome, GA, Calhoun, GA, Evansville, IN or Melrose Park, IL. Travel (within USA 48 states) could be 2-3 weeks in a month.
About the roleThe role will lead conception to commissioning of capex projects ($100K - $2MM) within Coatings and Proteins manufacturing plants. Projects will span across utilities, process lines, packaging, automation, and safety equipment. The responsibilities are-
• Work with the multifunctional team to critically analyze data to develop deep understanding of the problem to solve
• Proactively shape the project scope, cost and schedule to meet the business need
• Write and submit standard engineering documents to get projects approved
• Identify and manage risks associated with the project
• Manage all aspects of stakeholder communication
• Ensure projects comply with engineering principles, company standards, HSE (OSHA) and GMP standards.
• Execute the project with help from contractors, subject matter experts (SMEs) and construction manager.
• Orchestrate all aspects of vertical start-up (or early equipment management)
Qualifications and skills
Required Experience:
BS/MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or similar) 5+ Years in a project management role leading capital project over $500K in capex Formal training in project management (e.g., PMP) preferred, but not necessary Excellent communication, technical writing and interpersonal skills Food, consumer goods, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred Experience with packaging equipment, e.g., baggers and palletizers preferred Adept with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Project. Basic AI skills (Copilot, ChatGPT or similar) preferred. Familiarity with CAD software preferred

The typical hiring range for this role is $107,000 to $180,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. Robust relocation package will be offered.
