Overview: We are seeking a Fuel Handling Project Coordinator to manage the performance of control accounts within the Performance Management Baseline (PMB). This role focuses on project performance management, ensuring that technical scope, schedule, and budget are meticulously integrated.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Performance Management: Conduct regular reviews of budget, schedule, and resource performance, developing strategic plans to address underperforming areas in collaboration with Control Account Managers (CAM).
+ Budget Management: Collaborate with Project Controls to monitor cost and schedule variances through Earned Value (EV) data and actual costs. Identify root causes and formulate corrective actions and recovery plans.
+ Schedule Management: Lead the planning process for work scopes within assigned control accounts, ensuring accurate sequencing of tasks and clear communication of project change notices and schedule reforecasting.
+ Risk Management: Proactively identify and monitor project-related risks. Maintain and update the risk register in accordance with Risk Management guidelines.
+ Resource Management: Oversee team performance against schedule baselines and assist in developing staffing and resource plans to accomplish project objectives.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
+ A minimum of 4 years of direct project management experience, particularly with complex capital projects over $20 million.
+ Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) metrics is preferred.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or MBA is an advantage.
+ Proficiency in project management software including P6 or MS Project; experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively liaise across various departments and levels of management.
+ High degree of integrity and trustworthiness, with a commitment to fostering teamwork.
