Engineering Programs Supervisor   

JOB SUMMARY 

This position is responsible for leading a group of approximately 10 employees responsible for implementing engineering programs for Plant Hatch.  Program responsibilities include but are not limited to the providing the site oversight of ASME Section XI In-service Inspection (ISI) Program, the ASME OM Test Program, Reactor Components Materials Programs, In-Service Test (IST) Program, In Vessel Visual Inspections (IVVI), Fatigue, Appendix J, Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC), Buried Pipe and Tank (BP&T), Cable Monitoring, Environmental Qualification (EQ), FLEX, License Renewal, and Fire Protection.

 

The successful candidate will also provide leadership and strategic direction for other engineering programs not under his/her direct control working closely with other Site Engineering Managers and the Engineering Programs Peer Team to achieve excellence through standardization of engineering programs for the fleet.   

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Educational Requirements: 

BS in Engineering, related technical degree, or PE license required Background/Experience Requirements:  8 years experience in nuclear power required  Previous supervisory experience required  Previous management experience desired

Technical Requirements: 

Demonstrated problem solving skills in any engineering discipline - Working knowledge of engineering programs  Working knowledge of industry codes and standards 

Other Requirements: 

Occasional travel required, including travel to other nuclear plants.  Must meet SNC background screening and NRC  "Fitness for Duty" requirements.
