To address its competitiveness and growth challenges, the Engineering Competence Center (CCI) ensures that teams have an optimal working environment and that the conditions for success are provided to the teams
Your mission
Contribute to the development of the 3-year evolution strategy of the CCI and the establishment of its annual budget (OPEX/CAPEX);Contribute to the establishment of the S&OP by establishing the workload plan, managing the associated staffing strategy (internal, subcontracting), coordinating Make or Buy & Footprint in conjunction with Purchasing; Drive the performance of subcontracting and its transformation (Technical Assistance, Service Centers, Outsourcing);Establish with the management team and drive the performance of the execution of Transformation and Performance plans for engineering and its environments;Manage project-wise the definition and deployment of engineering environments in relation to IS/IT and the group's engineering strategy;Ensure the implementation within the organization of the management of platforms & associated resources and the licenses for engineering tools;Support engineering teams in the improvement and harmonization of practices and recruitment (Onboarding). Contribute to the proactive management of skills (responses to bids and support for projects);Set up a capitalization loop and establish cost models;Prepare and animate various steering instances (review of workload/staffing, KPIs, delivery performance, competitiveness of the CCI, progress of the transformation plan) and reporting/implementation of a communication plan for the CCI; • Update the steering dashboard of the CCI (DOTD, EEI, deployment of engineering tools, staffing…);Supervise the financial statements of the CCI (CAPEX/OPEX);Monitor the follow-up of improvement action plans and their impacts on the delivery performance of the CCI (maturity development of practices and skills);We are looking forward to
You hold a master's degree in Electronics / Computer Science / Telecommunications or a related field with a minimum of 15 years of working experience;You have significant experience in project management in a technical context as well as a background in the delivery of complex projects across all aspects of the product lifecycle from concept development, through manufacturing to in-service support;You have a proven experience as a senior leader in an Operations/Programme/Engineering management role within a defence or heavy engineering environment;You are capable of integrating a strategic vision of the business and the Engineering professions, demonstrating a strong understanding of the challenges in order to make the most appropriate decisions for your scope;You are comfortable with detailed information (whether financial or technical) that allows for a detailed analysis of the performance of the competence center. You can take a step back to target the impact of operations;You have a structured approach that enables the implementation of information gathering, the establishment of a process supported by tools across disciplines to propose decision-making steering based on the stakes and data;Your leadership, ability to unite and foster collaboration are leveraged to collaborate and interact with different stakeholders within a highly complex organizational structure.Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
