We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer Solutions Engineering Manager to lead our Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) operations and performance within a Front-Line unit.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing your team’s competencies to meet both current and future business needs. You will ensure the team possesses the necessary technical expertise to understand customer requirements and define optimal KONE solutions, working closely with both the sales and delivery teams.

As a CSE Manager, you will drive compliance with engineering policies, safety regulations, and local codes and standards throughout the full solution lifecycle. Depending on the organizational structure, you will either manage a team within a larger engineering unit or lead a small to mid-sized Front Line engineering team.

What will you do?

CSE Manager responsibilities.

Delivers CSE scope of work using CSE team that reports to him/her.Works closely with Supply line management for project specific solutions , effective costing actions and ensure it meets contractual timelines.Identifies changes in market and technology environment and drives changes to solutions and ways of workingCollects input and provides standardization opportunitiesProvides technical consultancy to Sales and customersParticipates in high priority customer meetings as CSE representative, impacts on customer specifications and understanding customer needsCosting management; understanding total costing, Front Line target costing, and planning for cost effective solutionsEnsures compliant deployment of engineering policy, local codes and standardsEnsures CSE plans safe customer solutionsProvides high-quality inputs for Sourcing and Supply LineProvides solutions where full lifecycle management is considered; installability and maintainability are considered

Leadership / People Management responsibilities:

People management e.g. setting targets, conducting PDP’s and IDP’s for team membersBalances CSE Resources according to business prioritiesFacilitates information sharing and creates collaborative working environmentDrives competence development in the teamDrives behaviour to represent KONE as one team towards the customerLeads the performance of the team

Are you the one?

Hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering.5 -7 years industrial experience from High Rise engineering.Minimum 10 years engineering management experience.Fluent level of English; Arabic language is advantage to have.Proven track record in management capabilities in global / regional environment.Strong team leadership skills with a collaborative and results-driven approach.Understanding of new construction and building modernization business and processes.Holistic knowledge of KONE solutions, products and processes.Understanding applicable safety and environmental norms and standards.Commercial business experience and/or strong business orientated mind-set.
