What this job involves:

As an Engineering Manager at JLL, you'll lead the development and implementation of comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for our client that meet the highest industry standards while optimizing asset lifecycle costs and energy conservation practices. This strategic role requires you to standardize engineering practices across multiple locations, drive implementation of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) technology, and manage contract procurement for technical services. You'll oversee critical environment management programs, conduct technical audits, and implement risk mitigation strategies while managing overall engineering budgets and expenditures. This position offers the opportunity to make significant impact through implementing global initiatives and best practices that enhance operational efficiency, extend asset lifespans, and deliver seamless service to our clients. Your leadership will directly contribute to JLL's reputation for engineering excellence while advancing sustainable and cost-effective facility management solutions.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Standardize engineering and operational procedures across client locations while leading the implementation of Critical Environment Management (CEM) programsCreate and review technical audits for all sites at periodic intervals, ensuring maintenance practices align with manufacturer recommendationsPlan, coordinate and review all maintenance schedules and shutdowns in consultation with clients and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)Maintain relationships with site contacts regarding facility issues and provide recommendations for asset retirement or efficiency improvementsDrive energy management programs to reduce utility costs while monitoring equipment uptime and asset lifecycle managementOversee the implementation of CMMS technology tools across locations, ensuring data accuracy and consistent reporting standardsPrepare weekly and monthly reports covering preventive maintenance, equipment uptime, maintenance contracts, spare parts consumption, incident reports, and improvement projects

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical fieldMinimum of 5 years experience in facilities engineering managementStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance and lifecycle managementDemonstrated experience in budget oversight and contract management for technical servicesProven ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programsExperience with CMMS implementation and utilizationStrong analytical skills with ability to interpret technical data and make strategic recommendations

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional engineering license or relevant industry certificationsExperience implementing energy conservation initiatives and sustainability programsBackground in critical environment management or mission-critical facilitiesKnowledge of risk assessment methodologies and mitigation strategiesExperience standardizing engineering practices across multiple locationsStrong project management skills with ability to coordinate complex maintenance activitiesBackground in contract negotiation and vendor management for technical services
