About the Role: Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic, full-stack development team at the forefront of the Digital Health revolution. This is your opportunity to shape patient experiences through scalable, cloud-native technologies while nurturing a high-performing team that thrives on innovation and impact.

What You’ll Do: 

Lead, coach, and grow a team of 5–7 software engineers, contributing hands-on to coding and architecture when appropriate

Guide system architecture decisions, focusing on robust integrations, configurations, and upstream/downstream impact.

Take full ownership of your team’s deliverables and outcomes, driving accountability and pride in execution.

Collaborate with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to design thoughtful, scalable software systems.

Promote engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, automation, and agile delivery.

Manage project planning, estimation, and execution, mitigating risks and clearing roadblocks as needed.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. 

What You Bring: 

Proven experience as a people manager, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.

Strong leadership in cross-functional collaboration, balancing system and project-level objectives.

Deep technical experience in AWS serverless architecture, managed services, and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation).

Experience with Python and modern backend technologies.

Experience with messaging and streaming systems (e.g., pub/sub, event queues).

NoSQL and relational databases.

Understanding of scalable, low-latency, high-availability systems.

Hands-on experience in CI/CD, automated testing, and agile software delivery.

A degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

Previous experience as a Senior Engineer contributing to production-grade software at scale.

Successful leadership of engineering teams through multiple product or platform releases.
