Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Manager to lead a team of project engineers in developing a proprietary line of products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing product revisions, interacting with customers to ensure product design meets specifications, and designing in conformance with ISO regulations and standards.
ResponsibilitiesManage a team of project engineers in product development.Handle product revisions based on customer change order requests.Interact with customers to ensure product design meets their specifications.Design in conformance with ISO regulations and standards.Actively serve multiple customers and their product requests.Assist with costing of new products to establish MSRP.Update and maintain weekly engineering schedule.Facilitate inter-department communication with associates and leadership.Maintain documents in a secure digital format, including prints, models, and quotes.Provide support to the Manufacturing, SMARTFLOW®, and Sales teams.Perform multiple tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Follow safety guidelines established by the company, including proper use of equipment and procedures.Essential SkillsSolidworks designProject managementGD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Leadership and management experienceProject planning and schedulingResearch and Development (R&D)ISO standards complianceCreo programmingAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering3+ years of leadership experience with the ability to manage and delegate 5-8 projects at a timeAttention to detailUnderstanding of GD&T tolerancesExperience with metals/plasticsCMM/CNC programmingWork Environment
The work environment consists of a team of 100 people at the facility, with a team of 4 engineers where you will lead 3 of them, partnering with the Quality Manager. The setting includes both a manufacturing floor and office space, offering a flexible schedule typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The company is privately owned, with a small, climate-controlled environment and new leadership.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
