Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent job-related experience, with strong experience in mining engineering, reverse engineering, Solidworks, and 3-D molding. This role requires excellent management skills and a passion for leading engineering projects to success.
ResponsibilitiesConfer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.Set standards for incoming raw, completed, or shop manufactured materials and/or parts.Prepare budgets, bids, contracts, and direct the negotiation of research contracts.Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department.Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.Oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to management.Set scientific and technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management.Implement and maintain all ISO and engineering documents and folders.Oversee and manage the Quality Control and Quality Assurance department.Review and complete conformance and non-conformance parts.Attend engineering meetings and share projects and completion timelines.Ensure measurement equipment is operating correctly by following operating instructions and arranging for repairs. Calibrate measuring equipment in-house and send it to outside vendors for calibration as needed. Maintain calibration records and confirm all equipment is up to date.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent job-related experience.4-7 years of mining engineering experience.4-7 years of reverse engineering experience.4-7 years of experience with Solidworks and 3-D molding.Strong management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with setting and maintaining engineering standards.Proficiency in developing and implementing engineering policies and procedures.Strong analytical skills to assess technology, resource needs, and market demand.Ability to prepare and manage budgets, bids, and contracts.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
