This role requires strong technical expertise in Azure, .NET, and C#, with the ability to actively solve complex technical problems while providing exceptional leadership to build a high-performing team.

In this opportunity as a Engineering Manager, you will
Establish a new development center in Mexico City, including hiring and developing a complete Scrum teamProvide hands-on technical leadership and actively participate in coding, code reviews, and architecture decisionsLead technical delivery using Azure, .NET, and C# technologies, with direct involvement in solving complex technical challengesImplement and refine Agile/Scrum methodologies appropriate for a distributed team environmentManage cross-geography collaboration between Mexico and India engineering teamsDrive continuous improvement in delivery processes, quality, and team performanceServe as the primary point of contact for project stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate technical and delivery risks proactivelyFoster a culture of engineering excellence and innovationProvide technical guidance, direction, and mentorship to team membersContribute to the design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practicesConduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standardsIdentify and resolve technical issues, bottlenecks, and bugsKeep up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies, frameworks, and best practicesManage and optimize databases, including SQL queries and stored proceduresCreate and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation and architectural diagramsLead deployment of applications and systems, ensuring smooth and reliable operationsParticipate in testing of applications and systems to ensure quality and functionalityImplement and adhere to Agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and backlog groomingMentor and coach junior team members, helping them develop their skills and expertiseAbout You
You’re a fit for the role of Engineering Manager if your background includes
10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in technical leadership rolesCurrent hands-on coding proficiency with Azure, .NET, and C# technologiesProven track record of building high-performing development teams while remaining technically involvedStrong understanding of software architecture principles and best practicesExperience working with distributed teams, particularly with teams based in IndiaExcellent communication skills with fluency in EnglishBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and make sound architectural decisionsStrong database management skills including SQL optimizationExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesPreferred Qualifications
Experience establishing development centers or teams in new locationsValid travel visa for the US and/or IndiaPrevious experience living or working in multiple countriesFluency in Spanish and EnglishTechnical certifications in relevant technologiesExperience in technical recruitment and team buildingExperience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Google CloudScrum Master or other Agile certifications#LI-AZ5
