We are looking for an Engineering Manager, Power Circuit Protection. This position will be based in Grand Prairie TX.

Siemens is seeking an experienced engineering leader to build and lead a dedicated team focused on advancing. This role is pivotal in driving innovation with our power circuit breaker based product lines, ensuring technical excellence, and shaping the future of low-voltage power distribution. You will lead a high-performing team, collaborate globally, and deliver solutions that enhance safety, reliability, and sustainability for our North American customers.

You’ll make a difference by: Building and leading a high-performing engineering team focused on power circuit breaker technology Mentoring and developing team members, fostering technical growth and career advancement Driving continuous improvement in design, testing, validation, and implementation of power circuit breaker systems Ensuring compliance with international standards (UL, ANSI, IEC) and safety regulations Working closely with global R&D teams to lead innovation initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness Working with multi-functional teams including Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain to drive localization efforts. Supervising product lifecycle changes through structured engineering change control procedures. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in product development, preferably in low-voltage circuit protection devices (typically <1000 VAC or <1500VDC) or power switchgear. Validated leadership experience with engineering teams and sophisticated projects. Strong understanding of standards related to power circuit breakers such as UL 1066, UL 489, ANSI C37.13, ANSI 37.50 and IEC 60947-2. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with PLM systems, CAD tools, and simulation software. Working knowledge of manufacturing systems such as routings, BOMs and configuration control. Demonstrates a high level of creativity and critical thinking to solve sophisticated challenges. Effectively navigates diverse perspectives to build consensus and drive decision-making. People management experience is preferred; however, candidates with strong leadership skills will also be considered. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical collaborators. Proficiency in German is advantageous but not required.

The pay range for this position is 132,650 - 227,400 annually with a target incentive of 15 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
