About the role Where you'll work: Our Rothschild, WI location is part of our Foundational Technologies division andis responsible for our biopharmaceutical needs for Kerry customers and brands. This site is one of two that works with specialized lactose protein within the Kerry organization! Salary: $107,757.00 to $181,563.00 annually Salary The typical hiring range for this role is $107,757.00 to $181,563.00 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements). About the Role Under direction of the Site Director, the Engineering and Maintenance Manager is to provide leadership and direction to the plant maintenance department responsible for the site asset care, maintenance & process optimization, capital planning and energy management. Key responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to: + Lead plant-specific vision and mission to assure continuous improvement. + Drive employee engagement, training and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment. + Ensure that all manufacturing/facility systems are properly resourced and that all resources are efficiently utilized. + Ensure all engineering related works align with corporate engineering standards including sanitary design, ergonomics, employee safety and food safety requirements. + Manage maintenance department costs and keep relevant budgets on track. + Initiate cost saving measures. + Responsible for working with Asset life cycle management. + Provide leadership in implementing/maintaining preventive and predictive maintenance programs. + Perform follow-up analysis to identify and resolve recurring downtime/inefficient operational issues. + Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting. + Effectively communicate results and action plans to appropriate employees and managers. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and skills Key competencies: + Food/Pharma Industry experience preferred + Experience implementing TPM and/or Lean initiatives + Experience implementing predictive/preventive maintenance programs + AutoCAD, Microsoft Project knowledge + Managing PSM programs Education/Qualifications: + Engineering degree Experience + Proven leader + 7+ total years maintenance engineering field in a manufacturing environment, Including 3+ years Supervisory / Management experience. + Proven experience in project management execution. + Good understanding or mechanical and electrical systems. + Experience TPM and/or Lean initiatives + Experience predictive/preventive maintenance programs + Strong computer application skills, + Network and PC business application software + Budget planning and managing experience.
