SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for leading a team of engineers and/or technicians supporting quality in one of the value streams at our Manufacturing plant in Bayport, MN. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing an annual strategy focused on operational excellence, reducing waste, and eliminating variation within our manufacturing processes. Candidates for this position should have energy and passion to improve both our production and functional processes while leading with integrity. This position ensures that the assigned team is operating in accordance with Andersen’s values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a team of engineers and/or technicians to establish and maintain strategic deployment of goals and objectives Partner with operations leadership, RD&I, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and supply chain functions to ensure that our products conform to standards and exceed our customer expectations Drive continuous improvement, improve customer satisfaction, reduce waste, and eliminate variation in processes Drive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solving Effective interpersonal skills and ability to gain alignment within cross functional team Develop, execute, and manage capital investment plan for quality in assigned value stream Identify, recruit, and onboard talent as needed Establish an environment conducive to teamwork, high morale, employee satisfaction, and performanceQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
4-year degree in engineering, technology, or management 5-10 years of experience in quality, engineering, or area of technical support. Demonstrated knowledge of quality control systems (SPC, Process Capability) Strong commitment to be a highly collaborative servant leader in all aspects of the role Solid coaching and people development skills Collaborative, proactive communicator; effective both 1:1 and in groupsNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience supervising a group of engineers and/or technicians Background in manufacturing preferred Demonstrated knowledge of basic corporate finance, budgeting, accountingCOMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn between $99,216 - $153,784 annually

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
