Engineering Lab Technician
The Impact You'll Make

 

Danfoss Power Solutions is a market leader in off-road mobile hydraulics and electrohydraulic steering systems for construction and agricultural machinery — and we’re hiring. As a Lab Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in testing, validating, and analyzing PVG products and electrohydraulic systems used in off-highway applications. This hands-on position operates within a dynamic lab environment, supporting product development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with design and validation teams to ensure product quality, durability, and alignment with customer requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

Assemble valve prototypes and prepare test setups for endurance, performance, and functional testing based on engineering documentation and specifications.

Build or modify fixtures and test rigs as needed to support testing activities.

Conduct performance evaluations and endurance tests, documenting results in detailed engineering test reports.

Collaborate closely with Product Engineers to define test conditions and criteria aligned with functional and performance specifications.

In collaboration with existing mechanical, HW and SW teams, be responsible for supporting and strengthening our production of product, quality analysis of failed of electrohydraulic actuators 

Work cross-functionally with global design teams, production, purchasing, and quality departments to support product improvement and change requests.

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changes in procedures, technologies, and responsibilities.

What We're Looking For

 

 

Associate degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Electrical Engineering Technology.

Candidates with a technical diploma or certificate in these fields may also be considered based on relevant experience.

3-5 years’ experience in a lab technical or maintenance role

Basic understanding of electronics (e.g., circuit components, signal behavior, troubleshooting) is highly desirable.
