Emerson’s Discrete Automation business is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join our team for a hands-on learning experience in the design, development, and support of industrial solutions. The intern will assist in a variety of engineering tasks.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

Assist with various research, testing, and evaluations  Assist in creating and updating engineering documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications, and BOMs. Conduct research, gather data, and perform analysis to assist with product improvement initiatives Assist in creating and updating engineering documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications, and BOMs. Perform basic assembly, measurement, and testing under supervision. Work cross-functionally with teams to support engineering projects. Present findings and progress updates to the engineering team as required.

For this Role, You Will Need:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field). Strong academic background with coursework relevant to mechanical systems or automation. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
