The Engineering Fleet Operations Analyst supports the strategic and operational effectiveness of the engineering vehicle fleet management team. This role focuses on generating and analyzing fleet reports, improving processes, and enhancing visibility into fleet performance and utilization. The analyst collaborates cross-functionally and works closely with leadership to ensure data accuracy and optimize workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and distribute fleet performance reports, dashboards, and metrics.
Analyze fleet data to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings or improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize operational processes.
Prepare presentations and reports for leadership and program stakeholders.
Participate in audits and reviews to ensure processes meet quality and compliance standards.
Provide ad hoc analysis and support for special projects as needed.
Assist in the documentation, training, and implementation of process improvements across fleet operations.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in fleet operations, data analysis, or engineering support.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in:
Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
PowerPoint
Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and audit processes.
Understanding of vehicle lifecycle management and corporate compliance standards.
Experience with process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
