Engineering & Facility Manager

As an Engineering Facility Manager based in our Stafford, TX location you will be responsible for the management of all manufacturing engineering, facilities, maintenance, and machine shop operations within the plant. This includes, but is not limited to, process optimization, equipment upkeep, infrastructure management, and precision machining services.    In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Directly oversee and lead the Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, and Machine Shop departments.  Be directly responsible for ensuring the safety of all employees within your areas of responsibility and driving a strong safety culture across the plant, especially concerning equipment operation, facility upkeep, and maintenance activities.  Be directly responsible for improving efficiency and reducing downtime through strategic maintenance programs, facility upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing engineering and the machine shop.  Lead the development and implementation of capital expenditure projects related to facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment.  Oversee the machine shop operations to ensure timely and accurate production of components and tooling in support of manufacturing.  Manage budgets for manufacturing engineering, facilities, maintenance, and the machine shop, optimizing spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  For This Role, You Will Need: 10+ years of overall experience in manufacturing engineering, facilities management, or industrial maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role managing teams.  Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) or a related technical field is highly preferred.  Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective preventative maintenance programs and facility management strategies.  Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.  Proficiency in leading capital projects, including scope definition, budgeting, and execution.  Experience with machine shop operations, including CNC machining and tooling.  Ability to handle multiple priorities and lead time wisely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
  Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred.  Ability to communicate sophisticated technical information in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others, providing clear instructions to employees and collaborators.
