Risk Management
Own the Tech Risk-driven book of work for Core, including analysis, estimation, project management and stakeholder management.BCP / Disaster Recovery
Work with Application SMEs on any BCP/Disaster Recovery requirements and planningBCP Co-ordinator for Core platform manual BCP and Disaster Recovery testingIncident Management
Play an active role in incident management (commander or comms lead), including stakeholder managementEnsure adherence to Incident Management policies and processesEnsure an MVP PM is completed for all incidentsRepresent Core in the D&W Engineering Operational MeetingTrack incident action items and work with Core Team Lead to prioritise implementationRelease Management
Review Pre-mortems, identify areas for release management process improvementCo-ordinate large release cycles where significant co-ordination between ABO, clients, other stakeholders is requiredEnsure adherence to Change Management policiesOperational Excellence
Work with ABO to review alerts and drive up automation or work with Core Pod Lead to prioritise implementationImprove Engineering Excellence (EE) dashboard metricsSLO/SLI
Be an SME in the SLIs of the platform and the SRE tools we useMonitor SLO performanceDetect gaps in SLIs / monitoring / alerts as part of incident managementEngage with SRE Engineering to understand their evolving offering to ensure we are leveraging all tooling that would be useful to us. Provide feedback and requirements from the Core Pod to influence SRE roadmap and priorities.Cloud Infrastructure
Play an active role in our Cloud StrategyWork with Application SMEs to optimize Cloud usage and facilitate Cloud migrationsSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience or interest in supporting mission critical and highly available systemsExperience of end-to-end design and implementation of software productsTeam player, eager to work in a regional agile/scrum pod within a global organization.Analytical mindset, creativity and commercial focus to deliver optimal solutions for the business.Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL, Postgres, Aurora) and non-relational databases (e.g. Mongo, Elasticsearch)Runtime containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Podman)Experience with AWS cloud computing servicesDistributed cache platforms (e.g. Geode) and messaging systems (e.g. Kafka)Familiar with CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE principlesStrong oral and written communication skillsABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
