Your mission
Leading a technical team in customer and R&D projects
Planning and coordinating engineering activities from system design to integration and customer acceptance
Defining applicable processes, practices, and tools (PP&T) for the specific system
Collaborating in the project team with project managers, IVVQ managers, and work package managers from all technical disciplines: hardware, software, and cybersecurity
Defining and planning engineering work packages for proposals and projects in terms of performance, cost, and time
Identifying, evaluating, and managing opportunities and risks
Reporting to project managers and maintaining an engineering project dashboard
Providing technical support to subcontractors
Assisting in resource and deployment planning
Deriving lessons learned and making suggestions for improving operational organization
We are looking forward to
The role generally requires a completed university degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or Natural Sciences) or equivalent
Professional experience in at least one of the following areas: Systems Engineering, Software Development, Hardware Development, System Integration, and Testing
Leadership experience in a transversal or disciplinary field is an advantage
Basic knowledge and ideally experience in project management
Willingness to further develop professionally and take on new technical challenges
Good knowledge of both written and spoken German and English
