Engineering Coordinator
1) Project Documentation and Coordination + Maintain and organize engineering documentation, including design packages, submittals, specifications, and as-built drawings. + Track and update project schedules, action items, and deliverables in coordination with engineering and project managers. + Assist with preparing engineering reports, technical memos, and presentation materials. 2) Site and Office Support + Coordinate monthly visits to the Fort Worth office or field job sites for engineering meetings, field assessments, or data collection. + Support project teams by gathering site-specific data, recording observations, and documenting project progress during visits. + Act as a liaison for field personnel to report technical feedback to the engineering team. 3) Technical Review Assistance + Support engineering leads during technical reviews by gathering reference material, documenting feedback, and organizing revisions. + Assist in reviewing drawings and specifications for completeness, consistency, and quality. + Track and log design changes or revisions for record-keeping and version control. 4) Cross-Functional Team Collaboration + Coordinate communication between engineering, product, design, and operations teams. + Schedule meetings, distribute notes, and follow up on action items to ensure alignment between departments. + Help track technical dependencies across teams and support documentation of key decisions. 5) Process and System Support + Help implement and improve engineering workflows, templates, and document control systems. + Assist in onboarding new team members to engineering tools, systems, and documentation processes. + Contribute to knowledge management by maintaining libraries of design standards, vendor data, and regulatory references. 6) Quality and Compliance Support + Assist in ensuring project work complies with internal quality standards and applicable codes. + Help prepare technical documents for permitting, client submission, and internal review. + Support audits or quality checks by organizing and verifying project documentation. 7) Process Improvement + Develop, document, and implement standardized engineering workflows and best practices. + Introduce tools and systems that improve efficiency, accuracy, and traceability of engineering work. + Continuously evaluate and refine technical procedures based on project learnings and feedback. + Promote the use of sustainable, cost-effective, and innovative engineering solutions. + Champion quality assurance and control throughout the engineering lifecycle. + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field + 1–3 years of experience supporting engineering or construction teams, preferably in the renewable energy sector + Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management or engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, Smartsheet) + Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams Our Company is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications for all positions equally without regard to their race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, genetic information or any disability as defined in the Americans With Disabilities Act, or for any other reason protected by State and/or Federal law.
